I'm a Software Engineer at Shopify, building the infrastructure behind the Extensions Platform powering thousands of third-party apps that run in flow-critical paths like checkout for hundreds of thousands of merchants.

Previously, I built distributed Kafka data pipelines at Intact Financial and predictive backend microservices at Desjardins. My passion for engineering started early, from writing smart contracts in high school to now designing systems that scale.

I'm passionate about building high-throughput and performant systems. My curiosity for distributed systems and infrastructure never stops growing.

    Built out and maintained various real-time distributed Kafka data pipelines in Java, comprised of batches, kafka consumers & producers, noSQL mongoDB databases and REST APIs – all for processing data crucial in the day-to-day operations of our insurance brokers.
